As an HRIS Functional Analyst, you will work within the HR operational team, as part of the processes, systems and operations "squad". Your role will be to ensure the support, maintenance and evolution of the products under your responsibility.

You'll need to develop rigorous expertise in the systems you support. In addition to working closely with the application supplier, you will be called upon to analyze user needs with a view to proposing the solutions best suited to the context, and to ensure the proper deployment of these solutions. 

What you'll do

  • Support application users in their problems; 
  • Understand and analyze the needs and problems of internal customers and design and propose appropriate solutions. 
  • Evaluate change requests, prioritize them and follow up with relevant stakeholders; 
  • Produce documentation required for specific configuration or product training needs; 
  • Provide user training support;  
  • With the support of the project team, carry out needs and impact analyses; 
  • Understand and analyze the context and business process surrounding said needs; 
  • Participate in project planning and organization for deployments and implementation of new functionalities; 
  • Prepare and execute test scenarios and support users during implementation; 
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to support teams and key users; 
  • Negotiate with customers and suppliers, explaining complex problems. 
  • Collaborate with and support the administrative operations team in relation to the systems. 

What you'll bring

  • University degree in information systems or related field
  • Experience in HRIS would be an asset
  • At least three years' experience in functional analysis or equivalent 
  • Experience in technical projects 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (negotiating with customers, explaining complex problems and training users) 
  • Business and impact analysis skills 
  • A problem-solving attitude 
  • Strong organizational skills, enabling you to work proactively on several projects at the same time 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and proposals 
  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel or other data analysis or diagnostic tools 
  • Basic understanding of database and web application programming languages 
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
