THE ROLE:
The Systems Security Engineer will be responsible for identifying cyber threats, defining the security requirements, and engineering solutions to solve the existing threats and security issues of a global organization. We have competitive benefit packages and an award-winning culture. Join us!
THE PERSON: 

The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-tasking skills and passion for details and should think one step ahead of cyber-criminals. You should be well-prepared to thrive in a fast-paced environment, possessing good interpersonal and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Engineer security solutions to the specifications of the Enterprise Information Security team requirements 
  • Proactively communicate relevant technical information and alerts on known issues, hot fixes and security bulletins to technical teams 
  • Collaborate with business groups to enhance and maintain policies for data protection and monitoring technologies 
  • Identify, monitor, and define the requirements of the overall security of the enterprise network 
  • Implement hardware and software solutions to help mitigate a wide variety of attacks 
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to align initiatives

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Sophisticated experience in encryption technologies, active directory, Unix authentication and authorization, web application firewall, data loss prevention, HIPS, File integrity monitoring, enterprise anti-malware solutions, vulnerability management/ penetration testing, database security/ data protection and/ or OS hardening 
  • Experience with security controls for one or more major cloud providers (Azure, Amazon, Google) 
  • Solid understanding with application, server, and network monitoring solutions 
  • Understanding of NIST Cyber Security Framework standard and requirements and ability to apply them to an enterprise environment 
  • Experience with infrastructure operations and processes associated with IT service management in an Enterprise-level organization 
  • Experience as a customer-facing technical lead, including working with both management-level and development teams

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS/MS preferred  
  • SANS, MCSE, RHCSS, CISSP, CISA, CISM certification(s)
