THE ROLE:
As the Investor Relations Coordinator, you will join a dynamic and fast-paced Investor Relations team that plays a critical role in shaping AMD’s communication with key stakeholders, including analysts and investors. This is a high-visibility position where you will support quarterly earnings calls, prepare for analyst and investor meetings, and manage important administrative functions.

 

In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of the financial and operational workings of AMD, learning from senior executives while building relationships with key players in the financial community. You will work closely with various departments, ensuring smooth execution of investor-related activities and fostering a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You should be a proactive problem solver, capable of managing multiple responsibilities with professionalism and poise. Detail-oriented and adaptable, you also possess strong organizational and communication skills. While you enjoy collaborating as part of a team, you are equally comfortable working independently. Integrity and discretion are essential, as you will be handling highly confidential information.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the Investor Relations team in preparing for quarterly earnings calls, roadshows, analyst days, and investor meetings.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, including scheduling and travel arrangements.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and invoices related to the IR function.
• Track and analyze analyst consensus estimates.
• Handle AMD Investor Relations communications, addressing inquiries as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks like report compilation, records maintenance, scheduling executive meetings, and managing expense reports.
• Ensure the accuracy and timely updates of the Investor Relations website.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive corporate information.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in administrative support, especially in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities quickly.
• Event coordination or management experience is a plus.
• Experience working with senior executives and handling confidential information.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Local candidates preferred. Relocation assistance not available.  

 

LOCATION:
• Austin, TX (on-site, 4 days per week).
