THE ROLE:

AMD is looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff to join our Circuit Technologies organization who would be responsible for managing our overall compute infrastructure needs.  The individual would own every aspect of our IT development needs for our organizational compute needs for design flow execution and optimization.

 

THE PERSON:

To be successful in this role, the individual should have strong problem solving skills, a self-starter, and someone with excellent communication skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing core compute needs for job filing, i.e. number of cores, memory needs, etc.
  • Flow optimization for design team execution of particular tasks, i.e. design verification regression flows, etc.
  • Will work closely with IT to identify areas for optimization
  • Will manage overall disk space utilization and reporting

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years managing compute infrastructure needs
  • Familiar with engineering development flows (circuit, RTL, design verification)
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong communication with leadership

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar field.
