CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a skilled Engineer to join our award-winning Warsaw studio, supporting our Localization department and Narrative teams. In this position you will work with our ambitious team to craft tools, pipelines and procedures capable of handling hundreds of thousands of lines of dialogue and bringing them to life in the game. As a Localization Engineer at CD PROJEKT RED you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and highly creative environment and have a significant impact and ownership on the development of one of our most important pipelines.
Daily Responsibilities
- Work closely with localization and narrative teams to understand their needs and ensure solutions meet the creative and technical goals.
- Build and maintain narrative content tools, systems and pipelines.
- Write high-quality code that is optimized, scalable, bug-free, and aligned with project goals.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the game industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases is required.
- Basic knowledge of C# and/or Python is considered a plus.
- Ability to comprehend unfamiliar code and work across many systems in the code base.
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English.
- A team player.
- Agile mindset is a plus.
- Passion for creating games.
