The Account Executive is an individual contributor who will report to the Director, Educator Enablement. Your mission will be to generate opportunities and establish partnerships between Prodigy and schools/districts in the United States. These partnerships will help drive increased adoption and purposeful use of Prodigy’s game-based learning tools via no-cost training.
\n- Lead and oversee the generation of net-new partnership opportunities with school and district leaders, setting the standard for your team’s approach and outcomes.
- Guide and support your team in managing partnership opportunities generated through Sales Development partners, ensuring consistent follow-through and conversion.
- Drive and strategize co-marketing and co-sales initiatives with strategic partner organizations, fostering high-value collaborations.
- Coach your team in advancing opportunities through the partnership pipeline.
- Conducting in-depth needs analyses and guiding discovery conversations with school and district leaders.
- Leading impactful demonstrations of Prodigy’s products and services tailored to identified needs.
- Securing partnership agreements and ensuring commitment to teacher training programs.
- Managing and nurturing long-term relationships with schools and districts to ensure sustained success and ongoing engagement with Prodigy’s solutions.
- Monitor and support team pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and execution of high-impact sales strategies.
- Act as a subject matter expert in sales, fostering team growth by staying current on K-12 education policies, market trends, and industry terminology.
- Champion experimentation within the team, identifying and scaling the most effective sales strategies and approaches.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on goals, share insights, and drive collective success.
- 10+ years of full-cycle sales experience in the educational technology sector, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets, developing high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate and refine the full sales cycle, implementing innovative strategies to establish and scale school and district partnerships.
- Extensive experience engaging with and influencing senior school and district leaders, building trust and credibility.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at coaching and challenging customer thinking constructively, fostering alignment and collaboration.
- Expertise in tailoring materials and resources to deliver highly customized, value-driven experiences for customers.
- Proficient in sales management software (e.g., CRM tools) with the ability to analyze data, forecast outcomes, and optimize team performance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to mentoring and empowering sales teams to achieve shared goals.
- A degree, diploma, or certification in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced education is a plus.
- Proven experience leading and scaling a high-performing sales team in a growth-focused environment.
- Deep understanding of the K-12 education sector, including its unique challenges, trends, and stakeholder dynamics.

- Willingness to provide support across all U.S. time zones during business hours to meet the needs of schools and districts as required.
