THE ROLE:

Join AMD’s team of highly skilled talents in managing the product test engineering team for our leading-edge Data Center Graphics products. Our Asia Based operations gives the engineering team exposure to multiple AMD product development, design, and manufacturing operations team, and will give the manager the ability to have a major impact in product development and enablement, yield improvement and drive revenue for years to come. THE PERSON:

This position requires the candidate with good interpersonal & communication skills, and he (or she) is capable to work independently and work with other groups to provide solutions or workaround to quickly mitigate the production risk. It is highly required the knowledge of statistical analysis and the candidate must be proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and strategy development. Formulate strategic plans to optimize production efficiency, quality, yield improvement, and test time reduction. Lead and mentor a team of test engineers.
  • Work with global NPI functional teams for new product development and transition to the sustaining phase.
  • Manage the flawless test and process execution by introducing new products and their ramp to volume production in manufacturing partners.
  • Develop procedures and specifications to ensure efficient production operations and quality service.

 

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 12 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering roles.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience in a Semiconductor Testing Production environment. Well versed in Advantest 93K test program development and hardware debug.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and writing in English.
  • Good at people management skills including mentoring, conflict management and effective communication.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Preferred Degree: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
