THE ROLE:

This is a high-visibility role within the AMD marketing organization. You will manage the development and execution of marketing content for major outbound marketing programs and initiatives for the fast-growing data center business. This role combines writing and editing with strategic program management, internal communication with worldwide marketing stakeholders, program and resource management, and process excellence – helping the whole marketing team work together on our most important projects across multiple product brands.
THE PERSON:
You are a technology marketer with strong knowledge in a wide range of marketing communications channels and content development to orchestrate impactful outbound marketing. You are inquisitive and resourceful, see both the strategic big picture and execute against details, and enjoy identifying opportunities to improve and drive change to advance marketing at AMD
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive content development and messaging to ensure alignment to strategic goals, including writing and editing content pieces as necessary
- Drive content development for AMD.com – including managing reader journeys and incorporating SEO best practices. Recommend and develop content to fill gaps for specific AMD.com page
- Partner with Business Units and ISV & Cloud partner marketing teams to ensure content is aligned to strategic marketing goals
- Assist in writing marketing copy including but not limited to social media, EDM, SEM, and web copy
- Manage marketing projects and initiatives end-to-end from scoping to execution and measurement
- Create prioritized strategies, timelines, and action plans with regular updates and proactively communicate with stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally with a wide variety of groups including regional marketing, PR/comms, web/digital, creative and production and more
- Find new opportunities to improve performance through measurements and data-validated insights
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years content experience in outbound marketing with a track record of successfully executing on multifaceted projects and content development
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Motivated self-starter who thrives in complex, fast-paced, milestone-driven environment
- Ability to initiate tasks and work independently, with strong attention to detail
- Strong project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, with strong ability to prioritize and complete multiple work streams
- Understanding of marketing strategies and tactics – including content marketing, paid media, product launches, geo marketing, targeted campaign, lead gen
- Previous similar B2B technology marketing experience preferred
ACADEMIC CREDIENTIALS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
