As Marketing Project Manager for League of Legends products in Northern Europe you’re an essential part of coordinating our event planning, partnership, and marketing communication efforts. You think outside the box and can problem solve creatively whilst navigating an evolving portfolio of products to deliver exciting player-focused projects.

As part of the Northern Europe team, you will report to the Supervisor, Brand Management for MOBA and bring together the team across key projects for League of Legends. You’ll join a team of diverse professionals bringing epic experiences to life through physical events,  influencer activations, social media campaigns, advertising, press releases, tournaments, stories, and moments that connect our products to players.

This is a contract position to support  and help coordinate communication between our team, our vendors and partners, this position will be key in helping with event planning and streamlining the way we work to deliver our objectives across Worlds in London and Arcane. We would like this person to be on the ground for our local physical events for Worlds, Arcane and Dreamhack in November.

The role is based in Reading, Berkshire, this will be a contract position until December 20th 2024 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with the League of Legends Brand Manager and team to execute project plans based on the NE strategy
  • Plan and execute community events together with the Brand Management team
  • Manage partner relationships, ensuring that our partners continually learn about everything going on in our games
  • Build an accountability Matrix and keep stakeholders on track
  • Support with tracking the budget as the projects progress
  • Work with a variety of Riot teams to obtain content, related assets and stay informed of time frames and changes
  • Ensure that marketing assets, web content, and community materials are of the highest standard and representative of a player-focused approach
  • Facilitate and take notes (and action items) during the rituals/calls
  • Assist on and create a retro report post campaign.
  • Define possible risks and the mitigations for key projects guiding the strategy and executions.

Required Qualifications: 

  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in events, marketing or other related fields.
  • You have experience in project management across multiple large scale campaigns.
  • You understand the Northern European gaming landscape, or a good chunk of it. You bring insight about cultural, behavioural, and social needs/norms in the region.
  • You are a proactive problem solver. Can navigate ambiguous situations to create the best outcome for players.
  • You have experience collaborating with agencies, vendors and partners effectively.
