THE ROLE:
The Adaptive and Embedded Corporate Marketing team is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of marketing programs supporting the applications and product solutions that serve the embedded market. Our team creates messaging, campaigns and the activation strategy that drive awareness and support the key business focuses. This is a cross-functional and collaborative position, working closely with the business units, regional marketing teams, and worldwide marketing organizations.

 

THE PERSON:
The Adaptive and Embedded Corporate Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Specialist that is talented at writing, editing and developing messaging for a variety of marketing use cases. The ideal candidate will have experience understanding target audiences and will know how to turn technical information into outbound marketing content, including case studies, social and web copy, short articles, and more. The Marketing Specialist will also assist in day-to-day campaign coordination. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling and technology.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to write case studies that are impactful to the AMD business and influential to potential customers
• Support writing social and web copy for various outbound campaigns including, but not limited to, product campaigns, awareness campaigns, and events
• Partner closely with the team to help support and assist outbound content development and production as well as process approvals
• Support presentation development and content reviews from outbound teams across the organization
• Understand the target audience and review media activation data for insights on how to shape messaging based on data


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in content development and marketing in the technology industry
• Follows AP Style writing standards
• Some embedded or enterprise B2B experience
• Some creative production experience
• Skilled in all Microsoft Office applications

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field
