THE PERSON: You have a passion for learning. You are ready to understand how IT infrastructure works and delivers value to Tech companies. You like taking responsibility for end-to-end outcomes of your efforts. You want to know how IT builds great services from hardware, software, people and processes within a high-tech organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deploying, tuning, managing, and transforming mission critical DB/Data warehouse environments including Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSql, MariaDB, MongoDB and Snowflake
• Administration and Management of Hadoop Big Data platform including knowledge of the service components HDFS, MapReduce, Yarn and services. 
• Data lake Support both on-prem and on cloud
• ETL tool knowledge using Microsoft SSIS, Databricks, Apache Airflow etc.
• Provide end-to-end Data-Engineering solutions with cloud native technologies on Azure, AWS and GCP
• Patching and vulnerability management and security best practices for Data platforms
• Knowledge of the modern Lakehouse platform which combines datalake, data warehouse for both unstructured and structured data in one platform.
• Collaborate effectively with other technical teams to exploit new technologies to enhance the applications and service infrastructure.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred
