KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help Customers to resolve Hardware / Firmware relate problem and narrow down software issue.
  • Help resolve / narrow down silicon level issues.
  • On-site support customer to resolve issues.
  • Generate policies and procedures to enhance the capabilities of the group.
  • Be external voice of AMD to outside customers.
  • Provide system / silicon-level engineering support to OEM customers for both AMD CPU and Chipset.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Notebook or Desktop PC motherboard design/ BIOS or debug experience.
  • Experience on porting BIOS a plus.
  • Be familiar with Windbg and assembly code.
  • Using experience of either PCI-E, USB, DDR or familiar with protocol is a plus.
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills, including to customers is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Tracking issue status and communicating with customer.
