As MTS Reliability Engineer, you will lead ESD and latch-up qualification testing of all new products of AMD’s Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (AECG) including test vehicles. You will also work with HW and product engineering teams to support reliability qualification testing of AMD’s accelerator cards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and procure test HW such as boards and sockets for ESD, latch-up, and card testing
  • Develop reliability test plan and schedule
  • Drive timely completion of reliability tests per schedule and manage status updates with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze test data to ensure that the product meets quality and reliability targets.
  • Manage debug of reliability failures and advocate improvements in design and manufacturing processes.
  • Support team members, customers, and suppliers when needed.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in EE, CS, or mechanical engineering is required.
  • Hands-on experience in designing test boards, sockets is required.
  • Hands-on experience in building test set-ups for IC or card is required.
  • Experience in testing ESD of IC or card products is required. 
  • Excellent team player with can-do attitude is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
