The Role:

We are looking for Software Engineers to join one of our many teams of talented engineers to develop world-class software for AMD products.


The Person:

Ideal candidates will have a strong programming background and interest in one or more of the following: GPUs, Gaming, Graphics, Compute.


Key Responsibilities:

· Research and development of cutting-edge features for the next generation AMD Products.

· Triage of issues to bring products to production quality.

· Enthusiasm and desire to learn new workflows in our industry-leading software organization is required.


Preferred Experience:

· Excellent collaborative software engineering skills

· Working knowledge of Computer Architecture and Operating Systems

· Strong C/C++ programming skills

· Object Oriented programming and design knowledge and skills

· Problem solving skills

· Strong written & verbal communication skills


How You Stand Out (one or more):

· Knowledge and/or experience with Kernel programming, DDK, SDK.

· Familiarity with Git, Jira

· Experience with Low-level or embedded device drivers including hardware and software

· Kernel Mode debugging skills

· System-On-Chip bring-up

· Compiler Development

· Experience with key operating systems constructs such as multithreading, virtual memory, interrupts, and DMA


Academic Credentials:

  • BS, MS, or PhD degree
  • University Degree or Post Graduate Degree in one of the following:
  • Computer Science/Engineering,
  •  Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
  •  Mathematics
