Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring MTS Software Development Engineer to Research, design, develop, and/or test operating systems-level software, compilers, and/or network distribution software for semiconductor operations, applying principles and techniques of computer science. Developing and maintaining best in class C++ and HDL compilers, Data flow optimizations and Logic Synthesis algorithms and flows. Implementing and enhancing Xilinx FPGA and AI Engine specific optimization and mapping flows. Collaborating with IP (Intellectual Property) development teams, hardware architecture team, application engineering team, and other EDA tool and software teams. Performing design analysis and addressing customer issues. Taking initiative on software tool quality and making performance improvement. Utilize expertise with computers and electronics, including computer hardware and software, applications, and programming, as well as knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.
