MTS SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER
THE ROLE:
AMD is searching for a dynamic, motivated self-starter, who is passionate about DevOps, with a thirst for knowledge and a firm commitment to schedule and solving problems. You will be joining the DataCenter GPU DevOps team to take our Automated testing to the next level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Help to identify and fix bugs and improve the reliability of our CI/CD Infrastructure
- Work across engineering teams and subject areas spanning silicon, firmware, hardware, and software
- Experience in working on Agile and milestone driven product development.
- Pull together meetings, set up clear agendas and follow up on action items.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Deliver regular progress updates toward program goals
- Make tough decisions such as priority calls based on partial or incomplete data
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers when needed.
WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART:
- Good understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Experience with Groovy, Python, Shell
- Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Good understanding about SCM tools like git/github and CI/CD tools like cloudbees, github actions
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana is a plus
- Proficiency with artifact management tools like JFrog Artifactory and Harbor.
- Working knowledge in both Windows and Linux environments and programming (C/C++, Assembly) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and system administration.
- Experience working in a fast-paced matrixed technical organization and multi-site environment
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 8+ years of experience.
- MS in a relevant field with 4+ years of experience.
