Responsibilities

A challenging and rewarding opportunity to help lead the talent management function of a fast-growing global organization

THE ROLE:

As the Senior Manager, Talent Management, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating the talent management strategies and programs that support AMD’s vision, mission, and values. You will work closely with the HR Leadership Team, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders to identify, develop, and retain the best talent for the organization. You will also be responsible for special projects as assigned that advance organization effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Talent, Culture and Community VP to design, develop, and track materials variety of audiences including employees, organizations, C-suite and Board of Directors
  • Collaborate across the HR organization, and business units as needed, to assess organizational design needs, and to design, plan, and implement organizational structures and governance to address them
  • Collaborate with other members of the Talent Management team to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the talent management programs and processes, and provide regular reports and insights to the senior leadership team and other stakeholders
  • Research, benchmark, plan, and implement best in class talent strategies
  • Research, benchmark, plan, and implement programs to support cross-functional learning and develop top tier leaders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, such as vendors, consultants, and industry associations, to support the talent management initiatives
  • Oversee the talent management budget and resources, and ensure compliance with the organization's policies and procedures

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Progressive experience in talent management, HRBP, or related field, with proven years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in talent management concepts, practices, and tools, such as performance management, succession planning, career development, and learning and development
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable plans and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders
  • Highly adaptable and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams and delivering results
  • Certification or accreditation in talent management, HR, or related field is an asset

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
