Amazon Games is looking for an experienced and passionate marketing content manager to provide a best in class experiences for players on owned channels and help us expand to new platforms, such as Xbox X|S and PlayStation 5. As a member of the content team within the broader Amazon Games Marketing organization, you will be responsible for helping inform platform strategy, creating and uploading bespoke content and communications, and optimizing content on an ongoing basis. You will collaborate with the broader marketing team to propose creative content ideas and opportunities, support key initiatives, and keep a weathered eye on the horizon for new content opportunities as we seek to constantly delight and inform our enthusiastic players. You are an experienced communicator and gamer at heart— connecting and understanding our games and players is key to creating engagement content that resonates with players and expands their fandom, and equally important when delivering difficult news.

Key job responsibilities
- Coordinating content opportunities on a variety of platforms, including owned websites, Steam, Xbox X|S, PlayStation 5, and others
- Participating in content planning sessions by contributing ideas and opportunities for consoles and other platforms, and identifying tactics to support key initiatives on those platforms
- Manage console and Steam content calendar
- Optimize copy and content by platform, and continually seek ways to improve the player experience on a platform-by-platform basis
- Copywriting, newswriting, and editing
- Using platform native tools and content management systems to upload content
- Generating platform specific reports to evangelize success and discover opportunities to optimize and improve

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
