GPU / RISC-V Security Architect
THE ROLE
As we push the limits of GPU technology from cell phones to the world’s fastest super computers, driving new security technologies at all levels is essential. You would create and drive security roadmaps throughout our GPU products.
As a GPU Security Architect, you will be expected to work with other technical experts internally and externally, to help guide complex products from concept to customer ship. The role requires a special combination of technical breadth, problem solving, and soft skills.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with our team of experts to create, develop, deploy Security technologies across GPUs and Embedded CPUs.
- Work closely with the System Architects to set and drive Security Objectives.
- Architect, specify and drive increased security solutions across all product lines.
- Engage with cross-functional leadership to integrate deliverables with project work streams.
- Feedback improvement areas to the various teams in IP, SoC, software, firmware and silicon enablement team
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Brings depth and expertise in product security/
- Experience in tackling multi-variable problems via system level modeling, testing and characterization, trend analysis/projection, and model verification.
- Speaks SW not just HW - understand system-level security goals.
- Understands system-level Security Polices current and emerging.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Effective with communication while communicating status to management
- Accomplished listener who can analyze, abstract, communicate, and converge on the best ideas.
- Develop strong partnerships over time with program stakeholders across the organization and development partners outside the organization.
- Excellent verbal communication and written, presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, planning, and technical management skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Product level Security lead/designer/architect.
- Experience in the PC architecture space.
- Direct technical experience on GPU/CPUs system security analysis
- Proven ability to deliver large cross-functional architectures.
EDUCATION
Master’s Degree (MS) or PHD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant discipline plus a minimum of 8 years of industry experience including at least 5 years focused on Security design and architecture.
