The Packaging Signal Integrity engineering team ensures that the performance requirements of the silicon and the cost requirements of the product are met through the integration of silicon, package and platform electrical design. Packaging Signal Integrity also provides design support to engineering design teams for both current and forward-looking product development and feasibility studies.


As a member of the Packaging Signal Integrity team, you will be responsible for enabling the electrical design, modeling, simulation, and characterization of power delivery networks in AMD products through the development and support of internal tools and workflows.  You will be required to communicate effectively and work in close collaboration with others in AMD as well as with AMD’s customers to ensure optimal engineering design decisions and efficient problem solving.


  • Experience in design of integrated-voltage-regulators and related components
  • Experience in the system level modeling and tuning of voltage regulator control systems
  • Working knowledge of circuit EDA tools such as Virtuoso, Spectre, RaptorH, Hspice
  • Experience in power-integrity analysis or support of SI/PI functions is desirable
  • Experience in GDS/Oasis processing for StarRC or equivalent parasitic extraction flows
  • Programming expertise in C/C++, Python or Matlab is required   
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and results
  • Ability to collaborate and work harmoniously with others
  • Ability to work independently



 BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
