Amazon Games is seeking a highly talented and motivated Senior Privacy Professional to join our Live Operations team as a Privacy Lead. In this role you will be the point person be responsible for supporting complex, cross-functional projects to drive implementation of the privacy program. You’ll support the privacy program in maintaining policies, procedures, and safeguards.. You will drive critical discussions with stakeholders across the business, including supporting presentations to senior leadership and coordinating related steering committees and councils.

Key job responsibilities
-Drive privacy regulatory requirements throughout a cross-functional organization. Represent Amazon Games business in Amazon-wide initiatives. Understand Amazon Games systems and technologies, and present those capabilities to partners. Create and drive a cross-organizational privacy roadmap. Influence product teams with complex roadmaps to meet regulatory requirements. -Work on compliance, governance, and risk management to ensure to remain compliant and protect customers. Engage directly with internal Legal and Regulatory Compliance and drive control implementation and compliance activities within business and engineering teams. Build out a technical and non-technical program that will cover all of Amazon, and various aspects of compliance and privacy. -Interact with software engineers, architects, product managers and external stakeholders to advise on technical risks and necessary remediation. Translate technical risks and advise business leaders on appropriate actions. Identify compliance risks in data privacy, data use, access controls, data tenancy, and security best practices. -Manage compliance program projects and drive multiple product launches across a variety of categories by using Amazon's standard delivery mechanisms including sprint planning, PR/FAQs, and weekly business reviews, among other tools. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements that apply to Amazon, and ensure compliance with internal Amazon requirements, including information security policies and requirements from Amazon Legal. -Drive risk reduction programs and activities, including technical changes and process changes that reduce Amazon's risk resulting from the business processes the teams support. Implement and manage GDPR Privacy processes across multiple services, including right to be forgotten and right to access requests. -Identify, document, and provide technical, functional, and process requirements to business and engineering teams and validate implementations. Build out the use cases needed to enable automation and technical product solution by identifying and documenting the capabilities of products Amazon will develop for both security and risk management teams, and software and product development team.

A day in the life
As Privacy Leader, your day will involve providing leadership by utilizing your privacy expertise to minimize privacy risks and translating privacy requirements into actionable processes and guidelines for internal stakeholders. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business units, Legal, Information Security, and Public Policy, to ensure continuous alignment with the business vision and roadmap. You will create mechanisms and strategies to enhance visibility into privacy risks and foster a culture of compliance. Additionally, you will execute by driving timelines, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support privacy compliance requirements.- Experience working directly with legal teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
