Software Product Manager - Technology & Gaming

THE ROLE:

Help us define the future of gaming. AMD is searching for a Software Product Manager to develop and drive software solutions for AMD products focused on the evolving needs of the gaming market.

THE PERSON:

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the development of new software technologies and features in support of gamers around the world. This is a fast-paced business, requiring the ability to move and adapt quickly to changing needs, lead multiple initiatives, and engage at all levels both inside AMD and with partners. The successful candidate will be passionate and have a track record of bringing new products to market.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be responsible for understanding and defining user requirements for gaming use cases.
• Driving the software roadmap forward with strategic planning, great ideas, requirements identification, technology inflection points and competitive analysis.
• Inspire engineering and marketing teams to meet aggressive deadlines for incredible products.
• Be the voice of the end-users and partners to cross functional software development teams within AMD.
• Strong product sense to scope business requirements.
• Help develop messaging and marketing activities appropriate to the value proposition of the product.
• Ability to evangelize solutions with OEMs, ISVs, and internal teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Prior experience delivering software solutions as a product manager.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Results driven with a history of successful execution on projects.
• Strong knowledge of gaming market and attached use cases.
• Ability to analyze dominant trends in the market.
• Experience providing support to sales and marketing organizations.
• Comfortable communicating and making regular presentations to senior leadership teams.
• Ability to work well with internal and external engineering experts to develop practical solutions to challenging technical problems.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to keep pace in a dynamic work environment.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
