We are PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the global battle royale phenomenon! Since the release of our flagship title in 2017 we have become one of the highest selling video games of all time with over 70 million copies sold – that’s a lot of Chicken Dinners!   

We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea and sit within the KRAFTON, Inc. corporation. From our Amsterdam office, we cover Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS region, and have teams dedicated to Product Management, Esports, Content, Communications, Creative, Merchandise, HR and more. We are also creating a new game here, with a growing development team working on a brand-new IP.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Develop product objectives for the EMEA region to keep internal stakeholders updated on the high-level goals and directions
  • Build a strategy for products aligned with objectives to provide a clear guidelines to regional teams
  • Apply frameworks to derive directions and strategy, and spread it to relevant teams
  • Define clear and concise focus areas by identifying the desired business outcomes and priorities to improve and defining measurements to achieve this goal.
  • Launch new titles in the EMEA region, collaborating with stakeholders
  • Work on the GTM plan with regional teams and review the plans using the marketing expertise
  • Prioritize tasks and activations from the product management side, considering the importance and urgency
  • Communicate effectively with PHQ to address regional voices and get sufficient support as the main bridge between PHQ and the regional office
  • Support regional activations to make our community engage more in our games
  • Analyze traffic and sales data and other metrics to monitor game performances
  • Identify new features and tactics to impact KPIs
  • Collaborate closely with talented people within your team as well as other disciplines

 

What ideally we’re looking for:

Experience:

  • several years of experience in product management, marketing, branding, or strategy
  • some years of experience in the gaming industry with a strong understanding of industry best practices
  • Experience driving elements of the product life cycle, such as product direction, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, product launch, and live operations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a diverse environment

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Data-driven mindset to understand our community and market trends and to translate them into business opportunities.
  • Understanding of in-game economies and what levers can be pulled to alter/change a given economy in the product
  • Exceptional business judgement with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • A proactive, self-starter spirit and ability to work both independently and on a team without micromanagement
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in a fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Excellent communication skills to build successful interpersonal relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Speaking Korean is a bonus
