Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Product Marketing Managers 2 to create messaging documents, devise sales support materials for Commercial segment stakeholders and Sales teams, educate and help them deliver the message to customers and industry influencers, and be the evangelist for commercial client products and technologies.  Design and develop comprehensive messaging, positioning, and marketing plan and assets for commercial client products, including unique product messaging and content showing thought leadership, compelling value proposition and differentiation. Understand commercial buyer/user personas and develop targeting plans to drive growth. Create effective GTM strategy and plan for commercial segment. Develop sales tools and enablers that support buyer and customer journey (e.g., presentations training video content, product/solution guides, blogs, media briefings, trainings, etc.). Understand competitive environment to position our products and technologies to win. Work with related cross-functional areas to help generate strong momentum ahead of new product launches. Provide product and marketing training to direct and indirect sales teams as needed to communicate value proposition, competitive advantage, and winning approach. Represent AMD in industry conferences and thought leadership activities. Build and sustain analyst conversations to help differentiate AMD products. Track and report to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on marketing plan results and successes.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: 1 year in the job offered or closed related marketing engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Must have 1 year of work experience in the following:

  • Overseeing the design, creation, management, and distribution of technical marketing collateral in support of the Product Marketing strategy;
  • Compose engaging audience-specific marketing content, including case studies, videos, solution briefs, web content, presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, and sales playbooks;
  • Execute the delivery of product messaging, marketing plans, sales content, and field event plans;
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand competitor product features, positioning, and messaging; and
  • Measuring and reporting the ROI of product marketing tactics through regular monthly analysis.
