THE ROLE:

The Product Marketing Manager, Data center GPU will work with one, or more, OEM or Cloud partners and AMD cross-functional teams to help maximize market penetration of AMD based solution by developing and driving various Go-To-Market plans and necessary marketing content to support AMD’s Data center GPU based server sales goals. This role is at the center of creating market awareness for Data center GPU solutions and driving marketing activities in alignment with AMD’s business objectives and market share targets. In this highly collaborative role, you will work with sales, business development, product management, engineering, finance, legal and OEM or Cloud partners to promote business, services, products, and the AMD brand.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will possess a breadth of abilities and skills, including: Data center GPU product knowledge, artificial intelligence & machine learning applications and solutions, strong marketing and presentation skills, customer relationship management, program management, content development to drive marketing strategies at OEM or Cloud partners. The candidate will need to be prepared to jump in, take the lead, and learn quickly. The candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, be highly organized, and be results driven.  

 

Responsible for aligning and executing product launches, Go-To-Market (GTM) & co-marketing plans to maximize OEM or Cloud partner(s) market penetration. Typical activities within this responsibility are:

  • Develop and execute product launches at AMD, OEM and Cloud partners.
  • Develop Go To Market (GTM) strategy and associated marketing plans in alignment with Business Unit (BU) objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including BU leadership, sales leadership, segment marketing, regional field marketing, product marketing, events marketing, and the paid media COE, driving brand awareness, demand generation, pipeline, and revenue growth
  • Create a complete set of product assets, sales tools, including customer presentations, sales training material that highlight unique value proposition of AMD’s Data center GPU product line.
  • Drive integration of AMD platforms & assets into key partner sales tools and programs, identifying gaps in marketing assets and programs and developing them to enable successful integration and partner sales enablement.
  • Help identify customers who are willing to give testimonials, case studies and references and amplify solution value in the market.
  • Manage key performance metrics to monitor marketing program effectiveness in achieving BU goals.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Outstanding written, oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple simultaneous projects with an unstructured or ambiguous environment.
  • Highly results-driven and self-motivated with the ability to work as a team member and individually.
  • Understands both user and buyer personas for server and server processor products and services.
  • Understand customer pain points, goals, and opportunities.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing marketing role
  • At least 5+ years of experience supporting marketing functions at OEM, ODM or Cloud Service Providers driving product launches, go to market and sales enablement.
  • Knowledge of AI market, GPU hardware & software ecosystem is a must.
  • Understanding of modern server platform architecture including knowledge of the processor and the ecosystem with the ability to communicate in a simple manner.
  • Development of a grounds-up market plan with key stakeholder alignment.
  • Outstanding written, oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Proven experience collaborating with both internal and with customers in supporting various marketing activities including events, product demos, messaging, launching product, development of collateral, and development of foundational messaging to support GTM campaigns.
  • Experience in cross-organizational discussions ranging from Engineering to Sales and from individual contributor to Vice President.
  • Successful development of solutions messaging that integrates AMD data center messaging with third-party resources that can be leveraged in training sales, partners, and GTM campaigns.
  • Help management of marketing funds with return on analysis post-delivery analysis.

 

ACADEMIC CREDINTIALS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer or Electrical) or Business

MBA or equivalent experience preferred

 

LOCATION: 

Austin, TX, Santa Clara, CA  or Remote.  While this position allows for remote work, candidates located in Austin, TX  or Santa Clara, CA area are preferred for this role.
