Job Role and Responsibility:  AMD, Inc., is hiring a Program Manager 2 to be responsible for following: Manage budget and headcount to align with the global CPDE organization Strategic Operating Plan, including CAPEX and OPEX budgets, financial review/tracking/approvals, quarterly PBA (Project Based Accounting), and other reporting; oversee process for resource / hiring and requisition lifecycle management; maintain and improve existing financial data models and streamline existing processes to drive forecasting and reporting; proactively design and build new complex financial modeling to continually improve operations; efficiently deliver accurate ad hoc analysis, reporting, and projects on request; work in partnership with global CDPE leadership, procurement, and legal teams on the management of NDAs, SOWs, and Contractor Agreements; provide insightful analytics through regular reporting utilizing tools such as Power BI and Tableau, in order to help drive the business group toward accomplishing key goals; perform high level data analytics, manipulation, and presentation; perform data extraction leveraging techniques using SQL, R, and Python programming; and make significant contributions to drive Resource Planning, Budget Management and developing new and innovative processes to successful outcomes for CPDE team.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree in management information systems, information systems, or a related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required:  36 months in job offered or as a Technical Program Manager, Program Analyst, or a related occupation.

Alternate combination of education and experience: bachelor’s degree in management information systems, information systems, or a related field and 60 months of progressive experience in job offered or as a Technical Program Manager, Program Analyst, or a related occupation.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

For either combination of education and experience, position requires three (3) years of experience with the following technologies and/or skills: 

  • Tableau;
  • Power BI to generate reports;
  • MS-Excel including Macros;
  • MySQL;
  • MySQL Server;
  • MS Office;
  • Sciforma; and SAP.
