THE ROLE: 

We are currently looking for an SOC Design Program Manager who will be part of a team working on next gen AMD Datacenter GPU SOCs.

The successful candidate will play a key project leadership role, acting as the primary owner of SOC program execution on the project planning scheduling, inter-team coordination, status tracking and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Responsible for managing a complex SOC program execution from Architecture definition through post silicon validation
  • Works in close collaboration with all stakeholders, including IP teams, SOC Architecture, RTL Integration, Design Verification, DFT, Physical Design teams on the various aspects of SOC execution
  • Works with Engineering teams to track status and summarize issues/updates
  • Responsible to generate content for periodic executive updates
  • Interacts with and guides a wide variety of internal and external teams in support of project milestones
  • Active management of project risks including early identification of key risks
  • Leadership in issue resolution and aggressively drive the issues to closure
  • Support ad-hoc Operational activities like operations planning, procurement of hardware for engineering teams, Contractors/Vendor management, SOW.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  

  • Experience in managing a complex SOC program execution from Architecture definition through post silicon validation
  • Strong technical background in ASIC Design lifecycle, SOC Design, Verification, Physical Design and tapeout process
  • Knowledge of tools of the trade: Office365, JIRA system, web-based collaboration tools like Confluence
  • Agile project management, PMP certification preferred

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
