THE ROLE:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transitioning AMD through a major growth and redefinition period. AMD is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the development of AMD’s Returns Processes. As AMD moves through a rapid growth phase, new processes need to be developed to match customer’s expectations and handle the scale of the company. We are looking for a Program Manager experienced with returns processes who can lead the process change. Our returns processes span a range of teams, tools, and stakeholders. The Program Manager will lead a variety of returns related projects including new tool development, return site processes, new business integration, and process automation. The role will require soliciting for change in the name of best industry practice and gaining buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders. The role requires someone who will champion the voice of the customer while also seeking internal efficiency through automation.

- Demonstrated success driving process and policy change within a cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience and knowledge with best in practice returns solutions at a diverse customer, global company.
- Ability to see problems ahead of time.
- Strong problem structuring and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills to drive process change
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a high degree of process and organizational complexity
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather process and capability requirements from stakeholders across AMD business functions for current and future return needs
- Create and drive a prioritized project roadmap with accompanying individual project plans.
- Returns Process migration to new ERP and CRM solutions (SAP, SFDC)
- Returns Process unification/integration of acquired company processes
- Develop new capabilities to meet customer and automation requirements
- Project manage multiple process development projects in parallel
- Lead core teams to develop new processes and tools to support project needs
- Ensure stakeholder alignment with change
- Work with IT to implement changes needed in returns tools
- Drive team managers to implement the process change within their teams
- Ensure process change documentation, and teams have established proper training and oversight to ensure compliance
- Establish KPIs to ensure business processes are meeting expectations
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in product returns process management
- Demonstrated experience in process development, including process change methodologies
- Elevated level of experience in tools/applications used to manage product returns (SAP, SFDC or other ERP & CRM systems)
- Elevated level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Undergraduate degree, PMP Desired
