Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Program Manager to Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business data for review by executives, managers, and other stakeholders. Develop corporate business tracking and automated analytical tools for AMD’s Client Operations team. Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action. Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of corporate business tracking, analytics tools, related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs, utilizing knowledge of data pipelining and visualization. Prepare and present project status to management. Program manage improvements to “Program Based Accounting” (PBA) process for Client org to improve team efficiency and data quality. Design, publish, and manage a reporting site for Client organization to highlight material specific issue. Prepare complex reports and dashboards used to drive key business decisions in Client Engineering. Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of different database architectures/management systems, data integrity and data science’s best practices. Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods. Perform data mining and blending with the ability to navigate various authentication protocols, while data blending. Visualize data with a focus on delivering reports and creating interactive tools to analyze, manipulate and visualize datasets. Works with team managers to scope programs and gather business requirements to conceptualize and produce operational reports to draw relevant conclusions and actionable insights. Work directly with Engineering team to scope, create and execute project schedules and implementation plans. Define performance metrics and reports to track client engineering goals. Track program hardware spend over time by team and compare to other programs. Exercise independent judgment to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results with little to no supervision. Analyze data, present the story, and foster efficiency & process improvements.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology and Management, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or closely related program management, business analyst, business intelligence, or related role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology and Management, or related field plus six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related program management, business analyst, business intelligence, or related role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

For either combination of education and experience, position requires four (4) years of experience in the following skills:

  • Creating interactive dashboards and reports allowing users to manipulate and visualize datasets;
  • Data Mining, manipulation, and management;
  • Power BI, ETL tools, and Tableau dashboards;
  • Performing data migration projects;
  • SQL;
  • Data pipelining and validation; and
  • Extracting financial data to publish reports, analyze trends, and forecast budget attainment
