We are Full Circle, and we're all about having fun and making great games that people want to play with their friends.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Designer I to join the Skate team. You will report to our Quality Assurance Development Director and work close with Strategic and Operational QD’s.

You will create and guide our quality strategy in partnership with our Quality Assurance and Development team members. You will create and guide the implementation and use of our verification and quality strategy in your assigned area of ownership as a Lead and will coordinate testing efforts and focus of area team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Verification efforts partnering with the Development team to deliver top-class content, steering the quality of experience.

  • Be a communication bridge between the Development Partners and the Quality team.

  • Communicate technical information to diverse audiences in an understandable manner, facilitating transparent dialogue about project status, issues, and solutions; foster an environment of mutual respect and collaboration.

  • Identify areas where testing processes, data validation, communication, reporting and feedback can be improved to provide pipelines.

  • Document reproduction steps, gathering test data and outputs, rebuild and test code and data fixes and produce supporting debug output to assist the whole game development.

  • Workflow champion in assisting the triage and prioritization of bugs with production, understanding where to direct effort for most gain on servicing bugs and feature requests.

  • Monitor the game builds, and follow up on fixes when we have issues that prevent the game from meeting quality goals.

  • Partner with the Automation and Data Analytics team to help identify technical solutions and automation opportunities.

  • Drive and execute test planning through a Risk-based testing approach.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience as a QA analyst/feature owner.

  • Working knowledge of Test & Issue Management systems (e.g., JIRA).

  • An enthusiasm for games and life simulation is a bonus.

  • Experience working in an upstream/embedded QA model.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum software development.

  • Experience working in a live service development model (i.e. sprints, releases, content deployments).

  • Experience with automation frameworks, scripting, or advocating for automated test solutions is a bonus.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $73,200 - $101,700 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
