As Quest Director on a project not announced yet, you will be heavily involved in the creation of key features and quests. You will manage the creation of all relevant design content while ensuring that it reflects the artistic and conceptual vision of the project and fully exploits the potential of all game mechanics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in defining, establishing and communicating the Quest direction in line with the creative vision of the game
- Supervise game content, such as levels, campaigns, quests, events and dialogs, with the Lead and other Directors
- Create and monitor objectives and workflow
- Improve the design of the narrative, the pace of the game, the difficulty, the player progression as well as the consistency of all the mechanics used to create the content
- Inform and guide the mission scripting and quest design teams on how to realize and successfully craft the mission gameplay goals into a highly engaging, playable experience
- Collaborate with the Design, Art, Narrative Design and Realization teams and the Producers to deliver high-quality content
- Participate in the research and optimization of content creation tools and workflows
As a Director in this field you’re enthusiastic about quality and innovation. You excel at communicating your vision to various stakeholders and developing strategic efforts with your team. Your team leadership experience equips you to navigate through challenges, provide constructive feedback, and streamline workflows.
- Experience in at least one full AAA videogame production, in a supervising role (Director or Associate Director), ideally for an Open World game
- Professional experience in supervising/directing a team
- Capacity to clearly articulate and communicate a vision and strategy
- Key expertise of design, narrative and player progression
- Advanced knowledge of content creation tools and workflows
