Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Sales Strategy & Planning Manager to Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Partner and align with business leaders and stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate these requests into technical requirements. Follow best practices and guidelines to support dashboards, metrics, scorecards, and reporting solutions providing a high level of customer service with an emphasis on partnership and collaboration. Interact with internal clients to evaluate products and performance. Supports business data experts on select data repositories and provides support for project implementations and modifications impacting data repositories. Monitor recurring process and ensures output accuracy and timely distribution. Responsible for maintenance, documentation, and enhancements of recurring processes and procedures. Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action. Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets. Create business intelligence tools and systems, including design or related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs. Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Management or a related field of study. Foreign equivalent accepted.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related sales and/or planning role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related sales or planning role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

For either combination of education and experience, position requires two (2) years of experience involving the following:

  • Python or R;
  • Machine-Learning;
  • MS SQL server; Data structures, Data visualization, and Data transformation;
  • Statistical Analysis and Predictive Analytics;
  • A/B Testing; Power BI or Tableau; and
  • SSIS, SSAS, or SSRS.

Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience, education, or training.
