THE ROLE:

The SAP BASIS Professional will be Responsible for Administering SAP Systems and work closely with Service Providers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Development team, Integration team, Security team, and Infrastructure team members to provide technical guidance and support for Operations as well as Projects of all types connected with SAP Applications.  SAP Systems include SAP Rise Platform hosting S/4 HANA, SAP BTP Platform, SAP SaaS Applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Basis tasks in Global work environment.
• Perform core SAP Basis administrator functions like certificate management, software installation and setup, upgrades and patches, performance monitoring, tuning and capacity management utilizing enterprise standards and tools.
• Perform change control, incident response, and testing processes for infrastructure changes or changes related to SAP Systems.
• Manage and respond to System problems on a 24x7 basis and take part in trouble shooting, issue resolution and escalation calls.
• Collaborate with business and audit teams to manage security effort, design, test, and final move to production in implementing security solutions.
• Manage Enterprise Job Scheduling System – Redwood RMJ and SAP supporting technical Applications as required.
• Monitor, analyze, and identify trends for system performance and resource utilization.
• Drive utilization of Solution Manager in managing the technical landscape
• Project Management for Basis related projects.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS/Security Administration including one or more of the following – S/4 HANA, SAP PO/CPI, GTS, GRC, Solution Manager, BTP and SaaS Applications
• Must have experience with S/4 HANA, SAP BTP Platform, HANA Database and SaaS Application Administration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for SAP Basis Administration and operations.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced and global environment.
• Familiarity with SDLC best practices, Agile Methodology, and Waterfall Methodology.
• Experience in Cloud Platforms
• Experience in Cybersecurity
• Experience in supporting different compliance requirements like SOX controls.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
