  • Own of the complete Month End Close Process covering AP/AR, General Ledger Account Reconciliation, Journal Entries, Balance Sheet, Fixed Assets, Month End Adjustments, Bank Reconciliations and more across multiple Locations / Legal Entities in United States and Canada.
  • Provide Key Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reports to management and leadership teams with narrative and analysis of discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the Payroll department to ensure compliance and accuracy of accounting and payroll tax data.
  • Maintain accurate and complete Financial Records.
  • Build financial processes and systems from the ground up to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Streamline financial workflows and reporting to enhance data-driven decision-making
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and technology integration.
  • Research changes to accounting standards and provide recommendations on application of new laws and regulations across all North American legal entities. 
  • Work with external tax partners to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of multifaceted experience in various accounting roles (preferably in Video Game or other Technology Industry). 
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations for multiple legal entities.
  • Documented history of month end close process ownership and accountability.
  • Exposure to international finance experience, with the ability to work effectively across borders.
  • Prior experience in building and improving financial processes and building financial teams. 
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (SAP By Design, Excel, PowerBi, Concur). 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently across all levels of the organization.

  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.

This job requires working in Boston, US.
Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.
