We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join APAC accounting team in Activision Shanghai office. The candidate will be responsible for routine accounting, closing, reporting responsibilities across APAC region and at the same time also needs to be open to handle tasks from various finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine accounting and closing tasks such as manual JEs, account reconciliations etc. applying accounting knowledge and company procedures to resolve routine issues
- Review and validate invoices and payment applications, cross check with POs and contract details
- Perform internal controls, and maintenance of financials records and documentation through effective use of financial accounting systems
- Assist to analyze, improve, redesign accounting & controlling processes, streamline workflows
- Support potential payroll function related tasks ranging from data collections, running payroll reports, coordinating & checking the payroll with external vendors
- Support external and internal audit requests
- Assist with any other ad hoc project and analysis
Experience and Skills requirements
A qualified candidate will have strength in the following areas:
- Bachelor’s degree major in finance, accounting, or tax related fields
- 3-5 years accounting related experience in multinational environment; accounting firm plus corporate finance experience is preferable
- A good command of GAAP knowledge and tax regulations
- Critical thinking, fast learning, flexible and have an open mindset
- Being accountable, organized and attention to details
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required
