Your Mission
The Senior Analyst position on the Strategy team is a unique, critical, and visible role at Activision. This is a generalist business strategy position that plays a key role on a high-caliber team that reports to our CFO. Your job is to ensure our business sees opportunities and delivers against key strategic priorities for Call of Duty and other franchises. Sample projects include long term planning, go-to-market strategy, platform strategy, regional initiatives, product feature recommendations, and evaluation of new business models.
Priorities may often change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment such as ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities:
- Contribute to Activision's long-term planning processes for multiple divisions (e.g., Activision Publishing, Call of Duty, Emerging Franchise)
- Drive strategy, organizational, and operations-related projects by partnering across publishing functions and development studios
- Deconstruct ambiguous problem statements into actionable project plans by applying hypothesis-based problem-solving
- Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative analyses applying internal and external data sources to understand implications for Activision and our game franchises
- Synthesize insights and recommendations into succinct, executive-ready presentations to support VP & SVP level decision-making
- Develop a deep understanding of how our game franchises operate, the markets they play in, their strategic priorities, and potential opportunities
Player Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years of work experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development/strategy at a leading TMT company
- Exceptional quantitative skills and financial competence
- Persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Self-starter and comfort with ambiguity; must be self-directed and proactive starting day 1 on the job
- Interest and passion for interactive entertainment and technology with the ability to learn complex industry topics quickly

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $92,920.00 - $171,814.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
