We’re currently looking for an experienced talent in Animation Programming to join our team in Malmö. If you think this sounds interesting and could be the next step in your career, we would like to hear from you!

What you’ll do   

  • Developing advanced character animation systems for large scale games 
  • Working with core animation systems, ragdolls, IK, procedural animations, locomotion systems and workflow improvements 
  • Prototyping and integrating cutting edge animation technologies 
  • Developing and supporting of the connections between animation, AI and physics systems 
  • Developing, maintaining and communication of a clear technical workflow for animation and code architecture for Snowdrop™, our in-house developed engine

Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experiences: 

  • Solid experience of console game development (Xbox or Playstation) using C++ 
  • Good understanding of the animation pipeline from start to end – techniques used for facial capture and motion capture, rigging, data clean-up, etc. 
  • Good understanding of modern animation techniques such as motion fields and inverse kinematics 
  • Proficient understanding of animation systems within game engines and hands-on experience working with these systems across various engines 
  • Solid understanding of low-level optimisation and data compression 
  • Good understanding of 3D math
