THE ROLE:
We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated Application developer who can design, develop, and maintain some of the most impactful Enterprise-wide engineering application platforms to contribute to all aspects of the engineering applications.
In this role, you will have full ownership of requirements delivery and drive projects to completion.
THE PERSON:
You're a highly motivated team player with a strong development background, problem solving mentality, excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks along with willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop tools and methodologies to improve the effectiveness of the development process.
- In depth knowledge of the SDLC and process improvement methodologies.
- Help build, deliver, test, support application services for IT, using cloud technologies and powerful programming languages.
- Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, design and programming techniques.
- Comfortable in assisting project teams develop requirement and design specifications for new and existing applications.
- In-depth experience of automation, designing and implementing applications.
- Ability to source data from legacy systems, effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
- Develop tools and methodologies to improve the effectiveness of the development process.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong fundamentals in SDLC, Agile Development, DevSecOps methodologies preferably with Agile Kanban/Scrum
- Experience in Java, JS, HTML, CSS, Python, Go, Groovy, Shell scripting or other languages.
- Experience with cloud technologies from Azure/AWS/GCP along with middleware, automation, and test solutions
- Experience in automation DevOps, using REST API Services and pipelines
- Jira workflow and plugin development knowledge
- Experience working on query languages in Postgres/Oracle/SQL and MongoDB
- Good balance of hardware, architecture, and software expertise
- Familiar with Application Performance Monitoring and load performance test framework/tools
- Good Verbal and Written communication skills.
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Have continuous integration/development experiences including GIT version control tool.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Expected to range from $102,960 to $154,440, commensurate with experience and specific skill sets.
