Our FC Data & Analytics group is looking for a Senior BI Engineer to support our team. Reporting to a Senior Analytics Manager and embedded with a team of data analysts, you'll be part of a growing group working with the franchise's producers, product managers, and other FC partners. We're looking for someone with deep experience and a passion for creating data dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable key insights to be uncovered within large datasets. You'll not only be a data visualizer, but also a data storyteller who will build reporting solutions that help guide the company to create extraordinary gaming experiences for our players. Examples of projects you may work on include creating dashboards that enable users to slice & dice our metrics to uncover the root source of our trends, and developing automated reports that summarize our performance in ways that our partners can take value from.

What you'll do on our team:

  • Design & develop automated dashboards and reports to drive data-driven decision making, using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Partner with our data engineering team to design data models and tables that will best enable an efficient & scalable dashboard set.
  • Collaborate with our team and gather requirements from our partners to understand their needs, determine the best solutions that can help answer those questions, and provide those insights through dashboards and reports.
  • Transform our data into solutions that help our partners use our data to make informed product and design decisions for the FC franchise.
  • Visually communicate data & insights to our partners in a clear and understandable way.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in roles developing actionable dashboards & reports with large datasets to help guide decisions
  • Deep experience with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Expertise in SQL and ability to extract data from large sources with differing structures
  • Experience transforming data into efficient models for dashboarding via ETL pipelines
  • Experience working with large datasets in programmatic analysis tools (e.g. Python, R)

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $77,600 - $130,500 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity
