About The Job

The global in-house Marcom creative team at EA SPORTS FIFA is looking for a new signing to add to our squad. The Senior Creative Copywriter role is for a talented, ambitious individual with an impressive mastery of copywriting & creative concept work, along with a proven portfolio of doing what it takes to bring the best ideas to life. This is a rare, yet vital opening for a skillful playmaker who is willing to get stuck in and leave their mark on the beautiful game, learn & grow alongside an industry-leading team, and help craft the voice & creative vision for the future of EA SPORTS FIFA and EA SPORTS FC.

A unique, adaptable candidate that is as passionate about making the best work possible as they are about EA SPORTS FIFA & football, masterfully crafting a line of copy or creating a campaign from the ground up.

A positive, contagious presence on the pitch – leading with optimism, collaboration, and a sense of ownership, who is equally as able to work as a unit as they are to go on a mazy solo run when called upon.

A self-driven doer who isn’t afraid to explore creative territories on their own or ask questions that will help them develop match-winning concepts.

Someone tapped into art, design, and the creative world at-large, finding ways to communicate fresh ideas clearly within the world of FIFA.

Ultimately, a Senior Creative Copywriter developing world class ideas, supported by a work ethic to take them from a slide in a deck to a full stadium.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and build concepts for various FIFA campaigns
  • Immaculate attention to detail and sharp tone of voice
  • Work alongside the global creative team to craft the FIFA voice across various brand campaigns and day-to-day social & digital copy responsibilities
  • Develop product messaging and feature naming for EA SPORTS FIFA/FC games.
  • Create and maintain the EA SPORTS FIFA/FC Messaging Framework that defines our tone of voice for each campaign moment across key channels.
  • Review and approve copy for use across channels including email, first party, club and talent partner, social, and beyond.
  • Lead copy creation across web, editorial content, product features, and more
  • Work with cross-functional FIFA team members to create content that will span across various EA & partner channels (including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and more.)
  • Reinforce the voice of FIFA, working to make sure that we are present in important cultural conversations across all content and platforms.
  • Work alongside design leads, production partners, game capture teams and agencies to bring your ideas to life.
  • Ensure creative ideas are well-articulated and on-brief.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a creative role. 
  • Experience in creative work across copywriting, campaign concepting and execution, social media, film, or video.
  • You are a creative storyteller at heart.
  • You are interested in the power of football and understand the cultural and creative potential of the sport. If you are new to this space, you are eager to develop a deeper connection with the sport.
