THE ROLE:
We are looking for our next leader to drive sales and grow market share for AMD products across Server, Client, Pro Graphics and Embedded solutions. The successful applicant will lead the sales team and field resources for the North America region, and will be responsible for establishing the AMD sales strategy, partnerships and market approach to drive customer relationships and deliver revenue goals.

• Demonstrated success in the high-tech industry, with a Commercial sales background in a sophisticated global organization
• Proven record of building harmonious partnerships and alliances with commercial channels and distribution partners
• Operational rigor leveraging best in class technology (SFDC) to drive outcomes
• Success working and influencing across a fast-paced, matrixed, multi-unit organization at all levels; persuasiveness and efficiency even where no direct reporting relationship exists
• Highly skilled in communicating clearly and concisely to the executive management team, keeping informed of operational status and future plans
• Ability to travel and be customer facing up to 50%
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and develop a diverse, high performance team
• Identify customer challenges and insert a compelling AMD value proposition to address
• Develop capabilities within organization to optimally identify, uncover, and close on opportunities
• Identify and champion top management relationships with commercial customers, OEMs, and key business partners
• Define strategic goals for continued growth in server, client, workstation, and thin client
• Report, maintain, and communicate overall business unit performance internally
• Develop and execute strategic alliance initiatives with customers to foster collaboration
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Leadership Experience: Proven success in a comparable role, building and leading a distributed team in geographically dispersed locations, including international sites
• Technical Sales Experience: an established background in Server and Datacenter, Graphics and/or CPU sales with progressive success selling into the Enterprise Server market
• Extensive experience in Commercial channel sales with proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding target goals
• Experience in key market(s) desired, but broad market experience also very important.
• Experience implementing Commercial sales-out strategies that grow revenue base and market share
• Validated experience in developing and successfully executing sales plans
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
BSEE or relevant technical degree; MSEE or MBA is preferred
