Senior Director of Marketing Operations, Technology and Data

As the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations, Technology and Data, you'll build out our marketing technology and data strategy to ensure Unity can scale to meet our growth goals. We are seeking a strategic and driven marketing technology leader who will scale our business rapidly and adeptly use technology, data, processes, and people to meet and exceed targets. This leader is comfortable operating in the unknown and readily tackles challenges by partnering across the organization to get results. Although you have a knack for technical details, you also know how to design systems for scale. We’re seeking a self-starter that finds collaborating cross-functionally and thinking through data problems equally compelling; someone who is a builder as well as an operator; and someone who thinks strategically but can also execute and drive cross-functional decision making.

What you’ll be doing

  • Craft a marketing data and tech strategy to enable us to meet growth goals; operate marketing tech to grow inbound sales funnel and pipeline
  • Lead a team to deliver insight-based outcomes, at scale, to help marketers drive favorable customer experiences and improve performance
  • Closely partner with the Create, Operate, and Finance teams
  • Partner with leaders to understand their business needs and contribute to scaling go-to-market strategies by enabling technologies and custom workflows
  • Enable our SDR/ISR teams by working with Demand Gen, SDR leadership, and Sales Ops to automate processes, improve efficiency, craft coherent messaging, and deliver customer experience
  • Manage the efficient and effective delivery of Marketing Ops
  • Lead marketing tech and vendor investments and relationships, including marketing automation tech, data providers, etc.
  • Collaborate with partners across Unity to build new functionalities and capabilities, ensure data health and accurate reporting, and enable partner teams with dashboard and analytics

What we’re looking for

  • Experience designing, implementing, and running a robust MarTech & Data stack as well as the capacity to transform that stack, enabling fundamental changes to incorporate and execute against insights at scale
  • Experience leading MOPs for a high-growth organization
  • Analytical acuity, understanding of business apps, and ability to optimally communicate impact to marketing strategy
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to empower a team and promote teamwork and positive morale in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in articulating sophisticated information and analyses—to both executive leaders and tactical marketers
  • Utilize external datasets to the fullest in creative ways
  • Understanding of SQL, HTML, Salesforce, and data structures
  • Experience with Eloqua, Pardot or Marketo; LeanData, DemandBase, Clearbit, and other sales/MarTech tooling
  • Proficiency with Tableau, Looker, or other visualization tools
