What we are looking for:

KRAFTON Americas is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our team and oversee multiple entities across the North American region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering positive employee relations and maintaining a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and guidance to employees on various employment-related issues, including performance concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints or grievances in a fair and timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and management to address employee relations issues and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee relations.
  • Develop and implement employee training programs to promote a positive work culture and enhance employee engagement.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, and ensure company policies and procedures remain compliant.
  • Participate in the development and review of HR policies and procedures, providing recommendations for enhancements as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience working in a Human Resources function, with a thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • 5+ years of experience working as an Employee Relations Specialist.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively counsel employees and facilitate difficult conversations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a focus on finding equitable solutions for all parties involved.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Certification in HR or Employee Relations is a plus.

In California, the expected salary range for this position is $130,000-$165,000. The listed expected salary range represents a good faith estimate and the actual pay may depend on a variety of job-related factors that can include experience, education, skills, and location.
