Role Overview: The Senior Financial Analyst role is a unique opportunity to be a collaborative partner and trusted advisor to us in the EA Partners team, including the production, commercial & business development teams. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager based in Singapore, you will manage the day-to-day responsibilities for all FP&A elements associated with the delivery of EA Partners' strategy.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop Relationships:

    • You will develop relationships with studio and product partners to support the long-term strategy of EA Partners.

    • Collaborate with the Studio General Manager and Business Development teams to evaluate pitches and deals from potential partner studios.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • You will conduct detailed business modelling to assess the feasibility of different business terms and agreements. Provide alternative scenarios & counter proposal recommendations, while benchmarking offers for future deals.

    • Provide regular financial visibility regarding forecasts, risks, and opportunities for EA Partners projects.

    • Manage FP&A responsibilities, including budget setting and overhead management.

  • Financial Support:

    • First finance contact for contract and purchase order reviews, expense cost coding, and guidance on our finance policies.

    • Oversee close activities, including accrual considerations, to ensure accurate accounting and financial management.

  • Reporting & Analysis:

    • Partner with the Senior Finance Manager to prepare reporting packages and hold forecast reviews with product and studio leadership teams.

    • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support to studio partners.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Collaborate with our central teams and other EA studios to support EA Partners' goals and the broader studio ecosystem.

    • Provide guidance on our core finance processes, building efficiencies, and streamlining deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent university degree.

  • Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, and working with the business.

  • Proficiency in accounting and general GAAP knowledge.

  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise required.

  • Experience in modelling IP licences and publishing deals.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.

  • Capable of building relationships with diverse teams.
