As a Senior FX and Shader Artist at PUBG Madison, you will play a pivotal role in crafting immersive and visually captivating experiences for our games. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality visual effects using Unreal Engine's Niagara and Cascade particle systems.
- Develop and optimize shaders and materials to achieve photorealistic visuals and stunning graphical effects.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to create innovative visual solutions that enhance the overall gameplay experience.
- Utilize your expertise in Unreal Engine's material editor to create and optimize materials for various assets in the game.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and tools related to visual effects and shader development in Unreal Engine.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience working with Unreal Engine's visual effects and shader development.
- Proven expertise in creating complex particle systems, fluid simulations, and dynamic visual effects using Unreal Engine's Cascade and Niagara systems.
- Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine's material editor and shader development.
- Experience shipping on current generation consoles is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of real-time rendering techniques, lighting models, and shader optimization.
- Familiarity with GPU performance profiling and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in custom shader creation using HLSL, USF, etc.
- Experience with C++ and Blueprint scripting for custom FX and shader implementation is a plus.
- Strong creative and artistic skills, with the ability to push the visual boundaries of the engine.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
