We are seeking a Senior HR Operations Specialist to join our Global HR Operations team based at Rockstar North in Edinburgh, Scotland. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working across matrixed, multinational organizations, be analytically minded, meticulously organized, highly attentive to detail, and will have a sound knowledge of HR Operations which includes a service mindset, strong HRIS experience, and in-depth knowledge of global mobility, benefits, policy and compliance matters for a complex global organization.
This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s state-of-the-art game development studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
WHAT WE DO
- We provide support and expertise to our HR Partners and management across areas relating to HRIS/employee data, benefits & compensation, HR analytics, global mobility, and compliance & policy management.
- We align and implement global HR Operations strategies across all our locations.
- We collaborate with our global HR Partners and Senior Leadership to develop new initiatives and programs to bring out the best in our teams.
- We deliver improvements across our HRIS and internal processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in global HR workstreams and work closely with the HR Operations leadership to drive quality and timely delivery of critical milestones.
- Drive process and policy creation and enhancement, ensuring global alignment while respecting local nuances.
- Partner with the global HR team and manage the review and coordination process of new and existing documentation related to global and local benefits.
- Act as the point of contact for Rockstar global mobility in multiple countries, inclusive of Contingent Workers and other classifications of our workforce while managing local statutory requirements.
- Partner with our enterprise stakeholders on all employee mobility considerations to ensure business and employee needs are supported.
- Work with our HR teams to ensure implementation and understanding of relevant mobility practices and processes as supported by our enterprise partner teams.
- Support the development of our relocation policies and practices with our enterprise partners and drive the implementation across our Rockstar HR teams.
- Act as the technical point of contact between HR Technology and local HR teams.
- Take ownership of HRIS solution designs, ensuring they meet business requirements, are documented, and signed off in testing.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR and employment law.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 6-8 years of HR experience directly supporting a client group or business unit in HR operations.
- Must have experience supporting HR operations across multiple geographies.
- Seasoned project management experience.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize actions.
- Excellent knowledge and experience using Workday, implementing system features, providing HR metrics and analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with local and non-local teams.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, across multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Degree in HR or relevant field required.
SKILLS
- Must be very detail-oriented and have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence change & process improvements.
- Ability to multi-task with a strong attention for detail and problem solving.
- Advanced skill set in Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility through internal and external relationships.
- Must be able to operate and work on confidential and sensitive tasks in an open office setting.
- A sense of ownership, initiative, and drive.
- Confidentiality, diplomacy, and commitment to the needs of Rockstar are essential.
