Under the responsibility of the Lead Designer in charge of the team, you will be responsible for parts of the Level Design and integration of gameplay elements. To enrich the player experience, you will build and assemble game and world levels in collaboration with Level Artists.
Main missions :
- Write and update Level Design documentation in agreement with the creative direction and the GDD
- Create, implement and adjust the game levels while respecting the rules initially defined
- Ensure the relevance of layouts with existing systems
- Ensure levels blocking and produce simplified proposals (paper version)
- Work in close collaboration with different teams involved in the game development (artists, game designers, narrative designers, programmers, etc.)
- Ensure technical consistency of levels while respecting production constraints
- Analyze and fix level design bugs
- Solid experience in Level Design ideally on AAA game productions
- Good knowledge of game engines, vocabulary and constraints of other trades
- Good knowledge of blocking, world building and level building
- Excellent communication, team spirit, collaborative work and autonomy
- Knowledge of architecture, setting up worlds and 360° approach are a plus
- Mission Design experience is a plus
- Fluency in English (written and oral)
