As the Senior Manager, Community Management, you will support all titles within The Sims franchise. You will oversee community strategy across The Sims with the support of Community Managers. You collaborate with studio leadership and our Integrated Communications team to identify the needs of The Sims franchise and forecast budget and staffing needs to achieve mutual goals. You can work either hybrid or remote as the role is open to candidates in any location.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Community Managers as they set and maintain strategy across all The Sims titles ensuring Franchise consistency
  • Provide status updates and forecast studio and partner needs to Senior Lead
  • Compile community feedback/sentiment reporting to communicate Franchise community health analysis with recommendations for actions
  • Direct and evaluate Community advocacy programs developed by our Community Managers to deliver audience-relevant feedback to studio, brand and communications teams
  • Manage communication strategies and social interaction guidelines for Community Managers and developers

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with People Management in Community Management or related field
  • 5+ years using multiple social media and sentiment tracking tools for gaming and an understanding of player motivations and needs
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English, along with solid organizational and task management abilities
  • Imaginative yet focused thinking on goals while driving unique and thoughtful programs
  • Knowledge of EA's lifestyle titles and The Sims Franchise
  • Bachelor's degree helpful

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $129,050 - $204,600

  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):

º $127,850 - $204,600

  • Jersey City, NJ:

º $127,850 - $204,600

  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):

º $127,850 - $189,050

  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

º $127,850 - $189,050

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
