We are on the hunt for a visionary Senior Manager of Consumer Insights for Apex Legends. In this important role, you will navigate the intersection of data and storytelling, reporting directly to the Director of Brand Strategy. Your mission is to spearhead a formidable team dedicated to research and analytics, unveiling the core of our audience's desires, opportunities, and engagement with our products. Your expertise in research and analytics, combined with a profound understanding of data, will make you an indispensable advocate for our players, steering the course of game development with insights into their wants, needs, and behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive insights agenda, identifying and addressing the needs of our projects and teams across research and analytics.
  • Lead your team to excellence, driving impactful results through both individual and collaborative efforts, and fostering partnerships across different insight functions.
  • Communicate recommendations in front of partners and senior leadership; develop close partnership with Brand, Product, and Designers to help them turn insights into action & impact on the project.
  • Oversee vendor partnerships to augment our research capabilities and deliverables.
  • Design and conduct diverse research methodologies, including surveys, labs, and focus groups, to gather meaningful data.
  • Analyze and frame data into digestible frameworks and reports, delivering insights that focus on not just the "what", but the "so what" and the "now what.”

Qualifications

  • You have 5 years of experience in analytics, research, business strategy, or related fields, coupled with 3+ years of leading teams.
  • Your background includes designing comprehensive research studies and carrying them from inception to completion, in close collaboration with leadership and external partners.
  • Proficient in survey design and qualitative research, you can distill complex data into compelling stories and strategic insights.
  • You can foster constructive dialogue and influence decisions at all levels.
  • Passionate about gaming, you exhibit a deep empathy for players and a commitment to enhancing their experiences through your work.
  • Prior research experience in the video game or entertainment sectors.
  • Advanced research techniques, such as conjoint analysis, are part of your toolkit.
  • You've led international research projects, showcasing your ability to navigate and connect with a global audience.
  • You can build collaborative relationships across different teams and influence senior partners is a testament to your leadership and vision.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.


BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $131,600 - $213,300 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
