Your Mission

Our Infinity Ward Studio is looking for a Graphics Expert to join the team in a Senior Principal Engineer role. The Senior Principal Engineer will work with our team to improve the visual quality and performance of our titles. The role includes exciting opportunities to be at the forefront of research and development on stellar franchises such as "Call of Duty". 

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:   

  • Investigate new research and development in the field and advise studios on potentially applicable advances 
  • Implement prototypes of cutting-edge graphics technologies, tools and workflows
  • Work with studios to plan and implement integration of new features and technologies into production engines and pipelines
  • Identify key innovations and associated risks sufficiently early to allow adequate time for prototyping, implementation and polish
  • Work with first parties to help ensure best possible performance from their graphics APIs 
  • Collate, author and maintain Technical Design Documents 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the importance for both ambition and conservatism when developing video games

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years in Sr. Principal Engineer, Lead Graphics / Engine Programmer, or similar position on a high profile title or titles for the current generation of consoles or PC 
  • Must possess exceptional expertise (both broad and deep) in the field of real-time graphics 
  • Ability to effectively disseminate pertinent information across different functional groups within the organization 
  • Must have shipped at least 3 console/PC titles, preferably AAA. • Extensive experience with real-time graphics APIs and console/PC hardware 
  • Exceptional ability in optimization, debugging and software architecture 
  • Fluent in C/C++ and relevant shading languages 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities 
  • Passionate about games and have a clear understanding of what elements are critical to create a highly polished title
